About This Opportunity
We're looking for a contract AI Engineer to join us for an active, ongoing project and contribute immediately from day one. You'll take ownership of end-to-end AI development — from architecture design and system building through to production deployment — delivering measurable business value within a defined engagement scope.
This is a contract role with clear scope, paid on an hourly basis. Strong performers are regularly considered for extended engagements and future projects.

What You'll Do

• Lead AI Development: Own the complete lifecycle of your assigned workstream — from scoping and architecture through to production deployment and optimization
• Ensure Production Reliability: Build AI systems designed to perform consistently and efficiently at scale in live environments
• Align Technology with Business Goals: Collaborate with our team to translate requirements into well-architected, maintainable AI solutions
• Move Fast, Stay Sharp: Hit the ground running on an active project while maintaining high code and architecture standards

What We're Looking For

Production-Ready Experience You've shipped and maintained AI models in production settings and built systems designed for scalability and long-term maintainability.

Technical Foundation

• Cloud Infrastructure: AWS expertise (Lambda, EC2, DynamoDB, Amplify) strongly preferred; GCP or Azure also valued
• Development: Advanced Python proficiency with clean, production-grade code
• AI Integration: Practical experience with OpenAI, Google Cloud AI, Amazon Bedrock, or similar platforms
• Architecture: Solid grasp of API-driven AI solutions and microservices design patterns

Professional Maturity

• Proven ability to break down complex problems and scope work accurately
• Comfortable with Git workflows, collaborative code reviews, and technical documentation
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for ML systems and testing strategies

Nice-to-Have Skills

• LangChain or comparable LLM orchestration frameworks
• Automation and integration platforms: Make.com, Zapier, n8n
• Background in Computer Vision and/or NLP

Compensation
Hourly Rate: Earn up to 180,000 PKR/month —Based on Hours Worked
You are paid for every hour you work. Hours are tracked and verified through our standard time-tracking process, and payments are made on a regular cycle.
This is a contract engagement tied to an active project. Duration and extension depend on project needs and performance.

Remote First — Work from wherever you're most productive.
Flexible Hours — We ask that you maintain availability between 6pm – 12am PKT for team overlap and synchronous collaboration.
Technical Project Management — Our PMs have development backgrounds. Expect clear communication, realistic timelines, and collaboration grounded in technical reality.
