With numerous Brick & Mortar stores, a world class production facility, an expanding online butchery, and refrigerated delivery vehicles, we truly cater to any type of customer. From households, hunters, and restaurants to wholesale retailers and exports. We have one of the largest processing facilities in the southern hemisphere to supply our different outlets and customers with a range of biltong and meat products.

Duties & Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will drive brand awareness and sales through strategic management of various digital platforms.  They will be comfortable in maintaining various marketing campaigns and have a creative skillset which enables them to brainstorm new initiatives. 

REGION: Centurion Head Office (remote work can be discussed)

OBJECTIVE: To grow sales and brand equity for our biltong and pet treat products across different online platforms.

Summary of duties (not limited to):  

  • Manage and drive marketing and sales on the various platforms, such as Amazon, etc,
  • Optimise Amazon PPC campaigns.
  • Developing brand strategies, awareness and guidelines to determine the brand's identity, target market and overall direction and ensuring consistency across all platforms.
  • Continuous market research to understand our customer behaviour, market trends and competitive landscapes.
  • Designing and implementing marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Content creation – posts, shorts, etc.
  • Managing all videography and photography needs (taking of photos/videos, editing, uploading, etc.).
  • Packaging design, options, quotes, supplier communications, etc.
  • Manage content calendar and social media marketing and execution (META, Google).
  • Manage WooCommerce and Shopify platforms.
  • Improve UX, product pages and checkout experience.
  • Create and measure DTC campaigns.
  • Oversee e-mail marketing and customer loyalty incentives (B2B and B2C).
  • Analytical reporting to monitor trends (ROAS, ACoS, CAC and LTV).

Desired Experience & Qualification

Requirements:  

  • Marketing or similar/relevant qualification (advantage)
  • Min 2 years eCommerce experience required
  • Min 3 years relevant and proven experience
  • META and Google
  • ROAS, ACoS, CAC, LTV knowledge and experience
  • B2B and B2C experience
  • Canva/Illustrator proficiency
  • Amazon experience necessary
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Driven, go-getter, dynamic

Package & Remuneration

Market related salary package.
