Introduction

Position: Course Consultant
Location: South Africa (Remote)
Work Hours: 05:00 – 13:00 SAST (including availability on Saturdays as required)
Role Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Sales Manager / Head of Admissions
Salary: R20 000 + Commission per month (non-negotiable)

Position Overview:

 

The Course Consultant is responsible for engaging with prospective students who have already expressed interest in training programs. This role focuses on converting warm enquiries into enrolments by understanding client needs, providing detailed course information, and guiding prospects through the enrolment process.

  • Contact and engage with warm leads who have enquired about training programs
  • Identify and understand each prospect’s motivations, goals, and suitability
  • Clearly explain course offerings, structure, pricing, and outcomes
  • Answer questions and handle objections confidently and professionally
  • Guide prospective students through the enrolment process from enquiry to sign-up
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system
  • Conduct consistent follow-ups to maximise conversion rates
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs
  • Collaborate with the wider team to improve sales processes and client experience
  • Stay up to date with course updates, industry trends, and competitor offerings

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications & Experience:

 

  • Proven experience in telesales, recruitment, travel consulting, or similar client-facing roles
  • Strong sales ability with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a confident phone manner
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain engaging conversations
  • Strong objection handling and closing skills
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail
  • Experience using CRM systems (preferred)
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team

Package & Remuneration

R20 000 + Commission per month (non-negotiable)
