Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Curriculum and Learning Managing Writer to coordinate the co-design of high-quality educational materials tailored to the unique needs of our partners and the rural, remote, and Indigenous communities which we serve. The successful candidate will ensure cultural relevance and accuracy in all created material. Additionally, they will implement and maintain standards for curriculum co-design, instructional methods, and assessment practices.
Responsibilities:
● Coordinate the work of curriculum writers, content creators, subject matter experts, and community members.
● Ensure standards for curriculum design, instructional methods, and assessment practices
are being maintained.
● Oversee analysis and reviews of all educational materials to ensure alignment with
organizational goals, educational standards, and community needs.
● Implement quality assurance processes and protocols to maintain consistency and brand
standards across all projects.
● Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance the quality of educational
materials.
● Collaborate with Ampere Project Managers to maintain effective communication with partners
while being accountable for the progress of projects, ensuring all deliverables are
completed on time and within budget.
● Assist the Ampere Project Managers in coordinating with internal teams and external
members to allocate resources effectively.
● Work with the Ampere Project Managers to identify and mitigate potential risks or
challenges that may impact project timelines or outcomes.
● Stay up-to-date on relevant market trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in
education, particularly as they relate to rural, remote, and Indigenous communities.
● Knowledge of Instructional Design or Educational Content software , such as, Articulate,
Canva, H5p is an asset
Attributes and Qualifications:
● Equal consideration will be given to non-academic skills and experiences of candidates.
● Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field; Master's
degree preferred.
● Proven leadership experience in curriculum development, particularly in diverse
educational settings.
● Strong understanding of educational standards, instructional design principles, and
assessment practices.
● Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously and meet deadlines.
● Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with
diverse stakeholders.
● Knowledge of learning management systems and experience with instructional
technology tools.
● Proven cultural competency and a commitment to cultural sensitivity, equity, and inclusion in educational practices.
