We are seeking a Design Engineer, Automation Cabinet Products to take major role in the DCS control cabinet product development.
In your role, your main responsibilities are
Develop and standardize DCS control cabinets and field boxes for product-based solutions.
Prepare and maintain:
Standard GA drawings and panel layouts
Typical wiring schematics and design templates
Standard Bill of Materials (BOM) libraries.
Develop and maintain component shapes and stencils.
Co-operate with global resources
Ideal candidate for this position has
Bachelor’s degree in electrical / Electronic Engineering
2–5 years of experience in control panel design (DCS/PLC)
Strong experience in AutoCAD / EPLAN / equivalent design tools.
Good understanding of:
Industrial automation systems (DCS/PLC architectures)
Panel design standards and electrical design principles
IO systems, marshalling, and control philosophies
Ability to think in terms of standardization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
Experience in Product development or R&D environment
Exposure to global DCS platforms.
Knowledge of design for manufacturing and cost optimization
Familiarity industrial compliance requirements
Experience in developing reusable engineering libraries/templates
