The Role – Drainage Repair Engineer

As the Drainage Repair Engineer at Craven Services, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of drainage repair works across domestic properties. This is a field-based role covering the local region, where you will work independently while being fully supported by our operations team.

Duties will include:

  • Diagnosing drainage faults and identifying appropriate repair solutions
  • Excavating and repairing damaged underground drainage systems
  • Carrying out patch lining and small-scale drain lining repairs
  • Repairing or replacing sections of pipework and fittings
  • Conducting CCTV surveys to assess structural issues and confirm repair needs
  • Completing reinstatement works to a high standard
  • Providing clear, professional advice and explanations to customers
  • Updating job reports and findings using a handheld tablet
  • Ensuring all work complies with health & safety regulations

The Drainage Repair Engineer will represent Craven Services and the Dyno brand, delivering excellent workmanship and customer service on every visit.

What We’re Looking For

The successful Drainage Repair Engineer will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ drainage repair experience including excavation and underground pipework (essential)
  • Experience in diagnosing drainage issues and delivering permanent repair solutions (essential)
  • Experience with patch lining or drain lining
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points (essential)
  • A professional, customer-focused approach
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload

This role may also suit candidates currently working as a Drainage Engineer, Drain Technician, Drain Repair Technician or Underground Drainage Operative.

Hours of Work
