Introduction

Hemisphere Talent Solutions is seeking experienced Front-End Developers to join our talent network supporting US-based technology companies.

Successful candidates will be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing modern web applications and user interfaces. You will collaborate remotely with US-based software engineering, product and design teams to deliver scalable, responsive and high-performing digital solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain responsive web applications and user interfaces.

  • Build reusable front-end components using modern JavaScript frameworks.

  • Translate UI/UX designs into functional, user-friendly applications.

  • Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and back-end services.

  • Optimise applications for performance, accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.

  • Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.

  • Collaborate with US-based development teams using Agile methodologies.

  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing and application enhancements.

  • Maintain existing applications and contribute to new software development projects.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Core Development:

  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

  • Experience with React.js, Angular or Vue.js.

  • Responsive web design and mobile-first development.

  • Web application development and component-based architecture.

Frameworks & Tools:

  • React.js, Angular, Vue.js or Next.js.

  • Git and version control (GitHub, GitLab or Azure DevOps).

  • RESTful API integration and JSON.

  • CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap or Material UI.

  • Modern development tools such as npm, Vite or Webpack.

Testing & Development Practices:

  • Unit and integration testing using Jest, React Testing Library or Cypress.

  • Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

  • CI/CD processes and modern software development practices.

  • Debugging, performance optimisation and browser developer tools.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.

  • 3–7 years of professional front-end or web application development experience.

  • Experience developing commercial, enterprise or SaaS applications.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud.

  • Experience working with distributed or international development teams.

  • Strong English communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with US-based colleagues.
