About The Wilkinson Firm

TWF is a workforce strategy and staffing firm serving behavioral health, mental health, human services, hospitality, and federal workforce sectors. We are MBE-certified, SAM.gov-registered, and pursuing non-dilutive capital through grants. HRSA, SAMHSA, state behavioral health workforce grants, and behavioral health foundation grants are all in our addressable universe.

Who we want

Grant writers with documented federal and foundation grant track record. Former federal program officers (HRSA, SAMHSA), foundation program officers (RWJF, Annie E. Casey, Conrad Hilton), or boutique grant consulting firm operators. You have written grants that were awarded, not just submitted. Behavioral health, workforce development, healthcare workforce, or MBE-focused grant experience strongly preferred.

What you would do

  • Identify and qualify federal and foundation grants TWF is eligible for
  • Lead grant proposal writing and submission
  • Coordinate with TWF leadership on program design and budget
  • Manage grantee reporting cycles post-award
  • Build the grant pipeline tracker as the firm's non-dilutive capital memory

Compensation

Two options:

  • Contingency: $0 base. 5-10% of awarded grant value, paid on award. Self-funding.
  • Hourly: $75-150/hr for firm-sponsored grant proposals where TWF takes lead authorship.

What you keep

  • Non-exclusive. Keep your other grant consulting and foundation relationships.
  • 30-day cancel from either party.
  • NDA per engagement only.
