**Job Summary:**
The Hotel Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide variety of hotel equipment and systems to ensure they operate at optimum efficiency. This role involves a mix of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs, enhancing guest experience by ensuring our hotel remains a safe and welcoming place.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other hotel systems.
- Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Collaborate with team members and external contractors for larger maintenance projects.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
- Assist with inventory management of maintenance supplies and equipment.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in maintenance or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in a hotel or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other maintenance systems.
