The Role:
The Hubspot Marketing Automation & CRM Specialist is responsible for execution of client marketing automation activities including implementation and management of CRM and marketing automation using Hubspot, execution of campaigns, data & list hygiene, and research of new campaign opportunities, among others. The position reports to the Marketing Automation & CRM Practice Lead.
Responsibilities:
HubSpot Platform Management
Own and manage HubSpot configuration, including Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, and CRM settings with English speaking clients
Build and maintain workflows, automation sequences, lead scoring models, and lifecycle stage automation
Develop and manage segmentation strategies using lists, filters, and behavioral triggers
Ensure proper contact property management and governance
Oversee data hygiene processes, including deduplication, normalization, suppression lists, and data imports
Dashboarding & Reporting
Create custom dashboards tailored to various stakeholders (executive, sales, marketing, client-facing)
Build reports that track KPIs such as lead generation, MQL/SQL conversion, campaign performance, email metrics, attribution, and revenue impact
Translate marketing data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
Continuously optimize reporting frameworks to align with client goals
Automation & Workflow Development
Design and implement automated nurture campaigns across multiple lifecycle stages
Build complex branching workflows with conditional logic
Develop segmentation strategies based on behavior, engagement, demographics, and lifecycle position
Monitor workflow performance and optimize for engagement, deliverability, and conversion
Contact & Database Maintenance
Maintain CRM data health and accuracy
Implement structured naming conventions and governance standards
Monitor deliverability, email health, and compliance best practices
Manage imports, exports, and field mapping with precision
Troubleshoot automation and CRM-related issues
Client & Stakeholder Management
Work across multiple client accounts or internal departments with varying levels of HubSpot maturity
Adapt strategies for startups, nonprofits, B2B, B2C, and enterprise-level organizations
Translate technical concepts into accessible insights for non-technical stakeholders
Collaborate with sales, content, and paid media teams to ensure cohesive automation strategies
