Remote (within South Africa)

Who We're Looking For
We need someone with strong integrations experience — webhooks, APIs, and platforms like N8N — who is also comfortable navigating Salesforce (flows, objects, data). This is not a fit for pure Salesforce admins without integration or light coding experience.

The Role
You'll support the VP of Operations in maintaining and scaling the systems behind Gipper's go-to-market engine. This is a hands-on role focused on debugging integrations, resolving system errors, fulfilling operational requests, and building automation to reduce manual work.

Typical split: ~40% integrations (N8N), 40% Salesforce, 20% reporting (varies weekly).

Duties & Responsibilities

What You'll Do

1. Error Management & Requests (Core Focus)

  • Investigate and resolve system errors across N8N (webhooks, API failures, sync issues, payload errors) using execution logs
  • Handle Salesforce errors (flow failures, validation issues, data mismatches)
  • Own and execute manual ops requests (pricing updates, account fixes, renewals, lead management) in Salesforce
  • Document recurring issues and solutions to improve speed and consistency

 

2. Systems Building & Improvement

  • Build and maintain N8N workflows; integrate systems via APIs/webhooks
  • Extend Salesforce (flows, data model, components) as needed
  • Maintain and improve integrations across Salesforce, N8N, Zendesk, and HubSpot
  • Identify repeat issues and implement long-term fixes

 

3. Reporting & Data

  • Maintain reports in Google Sheets and Slides
  • Ensure data accuracy across systems and prevent downstream issues

 

Systems You'll Work With

  • N8N: Core integration platform (primary focus)
  • Salesforce: CRM, flows, data model, reporting
  • Zendesk: Customer communication, integrated with N8N
  • HubSpot: Marketing automation (light usage)
  • Google Workspace: Reporting and communication

 

Desired Experience & Qualification

What We're Looking For

  • Strong integrations experience (N8N, Zapier, Make, or custom API/webhook integrations)
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce (flows, objects, reports)
  • Light coding ability (JSON, regex, scripts, debugging APIs/webhooks)
  • Comfortable using AI tools to improve output and efficiency
  • Systems thinker who can trace issues across platforms
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Clear, concise communicator

 

Nice to Have

  • Production experience with N8N or similar tools
  • Hands-on REST API or webhook integration experience
  • Salesforce customization experience
  • SaaS or recurring revenue operations exposure
  • Experience using AI coding tools (e.g. Cursor, Copilot)
