Introduction

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, working US hours (3 PM–11 PM or 4 PM–12 AM SAST).

Location: Remote within South Africa.

We are looking for a technically strong, reliable, and detail-oriented IT QA Engineer with experience in software quality assurance, particularly automated testing and end-to-end (E2E) testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring software functionality, identifying bugs, and maintaining high-quality standards through effective testing processes.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated end-to-end test cases.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and technical issues.
  • Test new features and ensure systems perform as expected.
  • Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Improve existing QA processes and automated testing frameworks.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT Quality Assurance and software testing.
  • Strong experience with automated testing, particularly end-to-end testing.
  • Technical understanding of software development and testing frameworks.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Payroll software or payroll systems experience would be a significant advantage.
