Overview
Navox is seeking a Junior Salesforce Administrator to help support the Salesforce environment used by VitalLink, a customer focused on connecting employees and their families to practical resources that address Social Determinants of Health, including access to healthcare, financial well-being, food security, sustainable housing, transportation, and educational opportunities.
In this role, you will work as part of the Navox team while assisting with day-to-day Salesforce administration, user support, reporting, data quality, documentation, and basic configuration for the VitalLink Salesforce instance.
This is an early-career Salesforce role designed for someone who has foundational Salesforce administration experience and wants to grow in a healthcare-adjacent, customer-facing technology environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, curious, service-minded, and comfortable working with both technical and non-technical users.
How you Will make a Difference
Salesforce Platform Support
- Provide first-line Salesforce support for VitalLink users.
- Assist with user account setup, access changes, password resets, role assignments, permission sets, and basic security updates.
- Triage Salesforce issues and escalate complex problems to senior Salesforce administrators, developers, or technical leads.
- Help maintain platform stability by testing configuration changes before release.
- Support basic Salesforce hygiene, including duplicate review, field usage review, list view cleanup, and documentation updates.
- Monitor support requests and help ensure timely resolution of user issues.
VitalLink Workflow Support
- Learn and support VitalLinkโs core Salesforce workflows, including participant intake, case management, referral tracking, resource navigation, survey collection, follow-up, and case closure.
- Assist with configuration updates that support workflows related to healthcare access, financial assistance, food security, housing, transportation, educational opportunities, and other resource categories.
- Gather basic requirements from VitalLink users and document requested changes clearly.
- Help confirm that Salesforce workflows match documented business processes.
- Identify user pain points and share improvement opportunities with senior Salesforce team members.
Basic Configuration and Declarative Administration
- Create and maintain basic Salesforce configuration under senior guidance, including fields, page layouts, list views, validation rules, record types, reports, dashboards, and simple flows.
- Assist with screen flows, task automation, guided intake processes, and case routing logic.
- Help test configuration changes in sandbox environments.
- Participate in user acceptance testing and release validation.
- Document configuration changes, business rules, and testing results.
- Follow Navox standards for change management, documentation, and security review.
Reporting and Dashboards
- Build and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards for VitalLink operations and leadership users.
- Support reporting on employees served, referral activity, resource categories, case outcomes, surveys, success stories, employer engagement, and program activity.
- Help validate report accuracy by checking source data, filters, field definitions, and dashboard logic.
- Assist with scheduled reports, dashboard refreshes, and report folder organization.
- Identify missing, inconsistent, or incomplete data that may affect reporting accuracy.
Data Quality and Data Management
- Assist with Salesforce data imports, exports, updates, deduplication, and cleanup.
- Use approved Salesforce tools to support basic data maintenance.
- Monitor data completeness and flag data quality issues to senior team members.
- Help maintain data standards for accounts, contacts, participants, employer groups, cases, referrals, partners, resource categories, and outcomes.
- Support duplicate management, picklist cleanup, required field review, and basic validation rules.
- Document recurring data quality issues and recommend practical fixes.
Integration and Systems Support
- Assist senior team members with testing and validating data flows between Salesforce and related systems.
- Help identify integration-related issues such as duplicate records, missing data, incorrect statuses, failed updates, or reporting inconsistencies.
- Document integration issues, user impacts, and steps to reproduce problems.
- Support basic troubleshooting with forms, call center tools, reporting platforms, email tools, document management tools, or partner-facing processes.
- Escalate technical integration issues to the appropriate Navox technical resource.
Documentation, Training, and Adoption
- Create and update user guides, standard operating procedures, configuration notes, process maps, and training materials.
- Help train VitalLink users on Salesforce workflows, reports, dashboards, data entry standards, and system best practices.
- Support rollout of new features, workflow updates, and reporting changes.
- Gather feedback from users and share adoption issues with senior Salesforce team members.
- Promote consistent Salesforce usage across intake, navigation, referral management, follow-up, and reporting workflows.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with Navox leadership, senior Salesforce team members, VitalLink operations, IT, analytics, sales, account management, and community resource stakeholders.
- Participate in requirements discussions and document user needs.
- Translate basic business requests into clear Salesforce support tickets, user stories, or configuration notes.
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users.
- Escalate risks, blockers, unclear requirements, and security concerns appropriately.

Required Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of Salesforce administration or Salesforce support experience.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
- Experience with Salesforce user support, reports, dashboards, data entry standards, list views, fields, page layouts, and basic configuration.
- Basic understanding of Salesforce security concepts, including users, roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Flow, validation rules, record types, and data import tools.
- Experience documenting system processes, user instructions, or configuration changes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
- Ability to communicate clearly with operational users and technical team members.
- Ability to follow established change management, documentation, and escalation processes.
- Interest in healthcare, workforce benefits, employee assistance, social services, community resource navigation, care coordination, or customer-facing technology services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Administrator Certification.
- Experience supporting Salesforce in a healthcare, social services, workforce benefits, employee assistance, care coordination, customer service, or case management environment.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Health Cloud, Nonprofit Cloud, or case management-oriented Salesforce implementations.
- Basic experience with Salesforce Flow, Data Loader, duplicate rules, custom report types, dashboard design, and sandbox testing.
- Familiarity with Social Determinants of Health, workforce well-being programs, healthcare navigation, or community resource coordination.
- Experience supporting call center, intake, referral, customer success, or community partner workflows.
- Experience working in a startup, growth-stage business, customer-facing technology company, or managed-services environment.
