Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Mechanical BIM Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Revit and BIM-based MEP projects. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining accurate 3D MEP models, preparing detailed drawings, and supporting coordination and construction activities in line with project requirements and BIM standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain accurate 3D MEP models (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, piping, etc.) using Revit.
• Review IFC and tender drawings to identify, close, and highlight any design gaps in coordination with the design team.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and electrical disciplines to ensure clash-free models using tools such as Navisworks Manage and BIM 360.
• Verify and update duct and pipe sizing and routing to resolve clashes and communicate required changes to the Design / Technical Engineers.
• Prepare MEP shop drawings, builder’s work drawings, and as-built drawings as per project requirements.
• Extract and prepare 2D drawings (plans, sections, details, and schematics) from 3D BIM models.
• Maintain model accuracy by incorporating design revisions and site updates in a timely and controlled manner.
• Generate material take-offs (MTOs) and quantities from BIM models to support cost estimation and procurement.
• Follow BIM Execution Plans (BEP), CAD/BIM standards, and internal company procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with technical and design engineers to ensure design intent and technical specifications are fully met.
• Update and manage Revit families in accordance with approved materials and specifications.
• Participate in clash detection sessions, coordination meetings, and design review workshops.
• Support document control activities by maintaining versioned models and drawings and ensuring submissions comply with project and client requirements.

Qualifications & Experience and Skills requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a BIM Engineer on MEP projects.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP) and working knowledge of Navisworks Manage and BIM 360.
• Good understanding of MEP systems, construction methodologies, and coordination workflows.
• Familiarity with international BIM standards and project-based BIM execution processes.
• Strong coordination and clash-resolution skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
