About The Small Business Project (TSBP)

The Small Business Project is an 8-year-old remote marketing team that has worked with over 140 businesses across India and overseas. Over the years, we have grown entirely organically, building a strong portfolio purely through referrals and word of mouth.

Our experience spans industries such as fitness, entertainment, lifestyle, travel, hospitality, ed-tech, e-commerce, and technology products.

We have executed successful campaigns for personalities like Vir Das, Roshan Abbas, and Varun Duggirala, and for brands such as TEDx Gateway, Kommune, Spotify’s P’odium, Spoken Fest, Cosmix, Moonshine, Ecom Express, Bombay Kids Company, Colorbar, The Tamara, and many more.

Role and Key Responsibilities

As a Performance Marketer at TSBP, you will:

  • Drive digital marketing performance across platforms using new formats, tools, and data-led strategies
  • Set up and optimise paid campaigns on Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and other platforms for e-commerce, event ticketing, and lead generation
  • Manage campaigns end to end covering ideation, media planning, optimisation, tracking, reporting, and analysis
  • Interpret campaign data and work closely with the content and design team to provide actionable feedback that improves creative performance
  • Build targeted marketing programmes using interest segments, behavioural insights, and content affinity
  • Manage performance across SEO, SEM, Display, and Paid Social
  • Implement and troubleshoot pixels, event codes, conversion tracking, and measurement systems
  • Establish processes for ongoing monitoring, tracking, measurement, and optimisation
  • Take responsibility for client communication, delivery, and overall accountability

Hiring Process

Round 1: Application Form

Round 2: Assignment Round

Approved applicants will receive two detailed assignments. You will get 4 days to complete and submit them.

Note: We do not discourage the use of AI tools. The purpose of the assignments is not to check if an answer is right or wrong. It is to understand how you think, how you break down problems, and how you approach performance marketing.

After evaluation, you will receive an email stating whether you move to the next round or are not shortlisted.

Round 3: Live Interview

Selected candidates will be invited for a live interview. You may be asked to perform tasks on the spot. The final selection is made after this round.

Experience Required:

Minimum 2 years of hands-on paid advertising experience.

Start Date: January 2026 onwards
Compensation: 25,000 to 45,000 rupees per month, depending on experience and skill set
