About the Role

The Revenue Operations Administrator provides essential support to the Sales Team, ensuring the efficient creation, processing, and administration of sales documentation and customer orders. Acting as a key interface between sales, customers, and internal departments, this role helps to ensure a smooth sales process from quote to fulfilment.

Operating within a fast-paced IT services environment, the Revenue Operations Administrator is detail-oriented, responsive, and takes ownership for progressing work to a high standard of accuracy and customer service. The role requires the flexibility to learn the full breadth of the team’s processes to provide effective cover, while typically operating day-to-day within a defined subset of responsibilities.

About Your Responsibilities:

·Quote & Order Processing: Accurately generate and process sales quotes, sales orders, and related documentation in line with company procedures and customer requirements.

·Renewals & Revenue Support: Manage third-party renewals and support proposal generation to drive recurring revenue opportunities in collaboration with the Account Management team. Monitor and administer the renewal cycle for third-party services, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely execution and customer satisfaction.

·Agreement-Related Order Administration: Support the correct handling of orders that relate to existing agreements. Make accurate decisions on whether work should be set up against a new agreement or an existing agreement, and ensure sales orders are associated correctly to support billing and service delivery (in line with internal processes and guidance from Finance).

·Customer Engagement: Act as a point of contact for customers on sales-related matters, ensuring prompt and professional responses that build trust and satisfaction.

·Procurement Coordination: Support client procurement activities, particularly around hardware and software licensing, ensuring compliance with vendor requirements and timelines.

·Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Account Managers, Business Development Managers, Finance, Project Management, and the Service Desk to ensure seamless sales operations and customer fulfilment.

·Sales Reporting & KPI Tracking: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of customer-facing reports, including contract KPIs, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery.

·Administrative Support & Team Cover: Carry out additional administrative duties as required to support the smooth running of the Revenue Operations Administration function. Develop working knowledge across the team’s processes to provide cover during holidays and absence, and to support workload balancing at peak times.

Experience Required:

·Strong experience using CRM and CPQ systems to manage customer data, update sales pipelines, build quotations and track order status with accuracy.

·Sound understanding of the sales cycle, from quoting and order generation through to renewals and fulfilment, with the ability to support Sales Teams in achieving commercial goals.

·Extensive experience in raising and processing sales quotes and orders, ensuring compliance with internal policies and strong attention to commercial accuracy.

·Excellent attention to detail in handling sales documentation, renewals, and client records, ensuring all information is up to date and audit-ready.

·Confidence making administrative decisions and applying process guidance when handling orders, and recognising when an escalation route may be required.

·Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment, handling queries professionally and ensuring positive outcomes.

·Comfortable working with multiple departments (for example Sales, Finance, Procurement, Projects) to coordinate order fulfilment and customer delivery requirements.

·A proactive, self-starting approach with a track record of taking ownership, following tasks through to completion, and escalating early when risks or blockers arise.

You will bring the following behaviours:

Client Focus: Delivers professional, responsive support to both internal stakeholders and external clients, ensuring a positive and efficient experience.

Attention to Detail: Maintains high levels of accuracy when handling sales orders, renewals, and CRM data to avoid errors and ensure data integrity.

Ownership & Accountability: Takes responsibility for outcomes, follows through on commitments, and ensures tasks are progressed to completion, not just actioned.

Organisation & Time Management: Manages multiple priorities effectively, ensuring timely completion of administrative and sales-related tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Effective Communication: Communicates clearly and professionally with customers and internal teams, ensuring information is understood and queries are resolved promptly.

Collaboration & Team Cover: Works as an integral part of the Revenue Operations team and wider Commercial teams, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues to ensure consistent cover and service levels.

Technical Proficiency: Confidently uses Microsoft Office and CRM tools to process documentation, maintain sales records, and generate reports with efficiency.

Adaptability & Initiative: Responds positively to change, proactively solves problems, and suggests improvements to enhance administrative workflows.
