Are you a qualified Red Seal Diesel Mechanic with experience working on heavy commercial vehicles? We are recruiting skilled South African Diesel Mechanics who are interested in employment opportunities in the Netherlands.
This opportunity is aimed at hands-on technicians with experience maintaining, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy commercial vehicles in dealership, fleet maintenance, transport, logistics, or commercial workshop environments. Experience working on truck brands such as DAF, Volvo, Scania, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Iveco, Renault Trucks, UD Trucks, or similar heavy commercial vehicles, will be highly advantageous.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on heavy commercial vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, driveline components, braking systems, steering systems, suspension systems, and electrical systems.
- Utilize electronic diagnostic equipment and software to identify and resolve faults.
- Conduct inspections and fault-finding to ensure vehicle safety, reliability, and performance.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and workshop documentation.
- Complete maintenance and repair work in accordance with manufacturer specifications and workshop procedures.
- Work effectively within a technical team while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
