Powur is looking for experienced solar sales professionals who know how to sell in California. This is a 100% commission, independent contractor role, not a salaried position. If you're a proven closer who wants to keep more of what you earn, this is built for you.

You can live anywhere in the US, but this role is focused exclusively on the California market.

The Role

This is a 100% commission independent contractor position. There is no base salary, no draws, and no guarantees, your income is entirely tied to your performance. In exchange, you keep a substantially higher share of revenue than you would at a traditional solar company, with no income ceiling.

• Sell residential solar in California, you set your own schedule and run your own pipeline
• Use Powur's AI-powered platform for proposals, site surveys, permitting, and project tracking
• Close deals virtually or in person, 100% remote-capable
• Access financing options typically reserved for large national companies, including a 40% Concert discount that gives you a competitive edge most independent reps simply don't have
• Close deals for other sellers on the platform who are strong lead generators but need a seasoned closer, splitting commission 50/50
• Build a team and unlock 6-level revenue-share overrides if you choose to scale

Compensation

All compensation is commission-based. There is no base pay.

• Keep 70–80% of revenue on every deal
• Active reps typically earn $80,000–$150,000 in their first 12 months
• Selling even just one deal per month nets six figures
• Top performers earn $750K+ plus six-figure equity grants
• M1 milestone bonuses up to $2,500 per install milestone
• Equity stock options starting with your first install
• Vested equity that continues to grow over time

New to solar but have a strong sales background? We can certify you quickly through Powur University, but be ready to sell.
