About the Role

The Senior HubSpot CRM Administrator (Contract) is a full-time Remote contract role responsible for optimizing the technical foundation of our HubSpot instance. Reporting to the Director, CRM, this individual brings specialized expertise in HubSpot’s data architecture — including its object model, properties, associations, and underlying data flow — to support the build-out and optimization of workflows, segmentation, and reporting across CRM and marketing operations. This is a full-time engagement beginning as soon as possible and running through December 31, 2026.

A Day in the Life

  • Partner with the Director, CRM to evaluate and optimize the underlying data architecture of the HubSpot platform, including object structures, properties, associations, and data flow
  • Design, build, and troubleshoot HubSpot workflows that support marketing automation, lifecycle stage management, and cross-functional business processes
  • Develop and refine segmentation strategies and active/static lists to ensure accurate, scalable targeting across email, SMS, and other CRM-driven channels
  • Build and optimize custom reports and dashboards that deliver clear, actionable insight into campaign and program performance
  • Audit existing HubSpot configurations (properties, workflows, lists, and reports) to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and opportunities for consolidation
  • Document data architecture standards, workflow logic, and segmentation rules to support long-term platform scalability and knowledge transfer
  • Collaborate with CRM, marketing, and analytics stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical HubSpot solutions
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across HubSpot objects, integrations, and connected systems
  • Provide recommendations on HubSpot best practices, new platform capabilities, and process improvements

What Sets You Apart

  • Deep, hands-on expertise in HubSpot’s data architecture, including its object model, properties, associations, and data flow between tools
  • Proven track record building and optimizing complex workflows, segmentation, and custom reporting within HubSpot
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose data and process issues and design scalable solutions
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams at once
  • Ability to translate business and marketing requirements into clear, technical specifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable working independently in a contract capacity while collaborating closely with an internal CRM team
  • Proactive, self-directed, and able to move quickly with minimal onboarding time
  • Strong time management and organizational skills

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
  • 4+ years of hands-on HubSpot administration or consulting experience, with specific depth in data architecture, workflows, segmentation, and reporting
  • HubSpot certifications (e.g., Data Management, Marketing Software, Reporting) strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting CRM or marketing operations teams in a consulting or contract capacity
  • Available to start immediately and commit to the engagement through December 31, 2026
