The role is REMOTE, BUT ideally the candidate must be based in CAPE TOWN for occasional meetings/get together.
Duties & Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications using Python, C#, and related technologies.
Develop in cloud-based solutions such as Microsoft Azure, including app services, functions, and data storage.
Develop and support business automation workflows using Microsoft Power Automate and SharePoint.
Collaborate with team members to gather requirements, plan sprints, and deliver high-quality solutions on time.
Participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices, and support continuous improvement across the team.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, staging, and production environments.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies, particularly in the areas of AI and machine learning, and explore how they can be applied to improve products and processes.
Document technical designs, processes, and user guides to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A strong willingness to learn and develop new technical skills, this is a key attribute we value.
Some experience with Python for scripting, automation, or application development.
Some experience with C# / .NET for building applications or services.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services (e.g., App Services, Azure Functions).
Good knowledge of Microsoft Power Automate and/or SharePoint for business process automation.
Understanding of software development fundamentals including version control (Git), debugging, and testing.
Experience to AI/ML concepts, tools, or frameworks (e.g., Azure AI Services, OpenAI API, or similar).
Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications or workflows.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps.
Experience with SQL databases and data modelling.
Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Blazor).
Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
