About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists with a rapidly growing technology company operating in the telecommunications space. This innovative organisation is developing next-generation, web-based communication platforms with real impact across the industry.

They are looking to appoint a Software Engineer / Software Developer to join their agile, remote-first team. This role is suited to high-achieving graduates as well as developers with up to 5 years’ experience who are eager to grow within a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain modern web applications and scalable backend systems
  • Take ownership of features end-to-end, from concept through to deployment and support
  • Participate in Agile processes including stand-ups, sprint planning and code reviews
  • Troubleshoot, debug and resolve technical issues with long-term solutions in mind
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical deliverables

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
  • Strong academic results (for graduates) OR up to 5 years’ relevant software development experience
  • Proficiency or solid grounding in languages such as C#, JavaScript, Java or C++
  • Good understanding of SQL and relational databases
  • Exposure to frameworks/technologies such as .NET, React or Node.js advantageous
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive, self-managed approach
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
