Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Delivery Management
•
Own delivery of data engineering and platform implementation projects from initiation to handover
•
Define scope, milestones, delivery plans, dependencies, and success criteria
•
Manage delivery against time, cost, scope, and quality constraints
•
Ensure implementation work aligns with agreed designs and architectural intent
Technical Delivery Oversight
•
Work closely with Data Engineers, Architects, and Platform Specialists to understand technical complexity and implications
•
Translate technical designs into executable delivery plans
•
Manage dependencies across data ingestion, transformation, storage, analytics, and consumption layers
•
Ensure non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, security, reliability) are planned and delivered
Client & Stakeholder Management
•
Act as the primary delivery point of contact for client implementation stakeholders
•
Set and manage client expectations regarding delivery scope, timelines, and risks
•
Communicate progress, issues, and decisions clearly and transparently
•
Facilitate delivery governance forums, status meetings, and steering sessions
Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
•
Proactively identify and manage delivery, technical, and data-related risks
•
Maintain RAID logs and ensure timely mitigation and escalation
•
Manage cross-team and third-party dependencies
•
Navigate trade-offs between speed, cost, and technical quality
Delivery Ways of Working
•
Support agile, hybrid, or phased delivery models depending on client context
•
Facilitate delivery ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives)
•
Promote disciplined delivery practices and accountability
•
Ensure documentation, handover, and operational readiness are addressed
Commercial & Change Control
•
Track delivery budgets, forecasts, and burn
•
Support estimation and implementation planning during pre-sales and mobilisation
•
Manage scope changes through appropriate change control processes
•
Ensure delivery remains commercially viable
