Lead Generation Manager

Design and manage a comprehensive outbound engine for a fast-growing social impact startup.

Location: South Africa (Remote, 4-5 hours daily overlap with UK hours).

Salary: R28 000 - R40 000 p/m.

The Role: Lead Generation Manager

This role is responsible for owning the entire outbound engine, taking full ownership of pipeline generation by replacing the current agency. The individual will design strategies, build the tech stack, and run campaigns to deliver qualified meetings to the sales team. The focus is on booking meetings with HR and L&D leaders at professional services firms and filling training cohorts with nonprofit organizations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • 3-6 years of experience in B2B outbound lead generation, demand generation, or growth roles.

  • Build and manage the full tech stack, including Apollo, Snov.io, Pipedrive, and LinkedIn outreach tools.

  • Deliver 30+ qualified corporate meetings and 20+ nonprofit leads per month by the end of the third month.

  • Audit existing campaigns, sequences, and lead data to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Build and document workflows covering lead sourcing, enrichment, sequencing, and CRM handoff.

  • A/B test outreach sequences to develop new angles and improve booking rates.

  • Manage junior SDRs or virtual assistants to increase volume as the function scales.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • 3-6 years of experience in B2B outbound lead generation, demand generation, or growth roles.

  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate, select, and maintain a tech stack for workflow automation.

  • Excellent written English for UK professional audiences with an understanding of British professional tone.

  • Experience in a startup or scale-up environment where the function was built from scratch.

  • Experience generating leads for UK or European markets.

  • Proactive ownership mentality with the ability to design strategies and execute campaigns independently.

  • Familiarity with value-led outreach approaches, such as content hooks and research interviews.

  • Experience with podcast-based or content-led lead generation strategies.

  • Familiarity with the UK HR/L&D buyer landscape or Account-Based Marketing (ABM) approaches.
