Introduction

LBKN Capital is an Australian commercial property investment business. We acquire vacant commercial properties, secure quality tenants, and sell them as tenanted investments. Finding those tenants is where you come in.

We're hiring an outbound caller based in South Africa. Your role is to speak with business owners across NSW and the ACT to understand their needs, plans, and what space might suit them next. You'll work from call lists prepared for you by our virtual assistant, so there's no list building or research on your end, and we'll provide you with an Australian phone number to call from. Some follow-up emails may be required, but the heart of the job is great conversations on the phone.

Duties & Responsibilities

This is not cold selling. Your job is to have short, friendly, professional conversations with business owners and learn who is looking to move, expand, has a lease expiry coming up, or is opening a new location. On each call you'll ask a set of simple questions covering their expansion plans, target areas, space requirements, budget, and timeframes, then log what you've learned into our system so we can find them the right property.

Hours: You'll work Australian business hours, 10:00am–6:00pm AEST, with a one-hour break from 12:00pm–1:00pm AEST. In South African time that's currently 2:00am–10:00am SAST with a break from 4:00am–5:00am. From October, when Australian daylight saving starts, the shift moves to 1:00am–9:00am SAST. This is a night shift by South African time, so please only apply if these hours genuinely suit you.

 

Desired Experience & Qualification

Desired Experience & Qualification:

  • 2+ years outbound B2B calling experience (BPO, telesales, or appointment setting)
  • Clear, confident spoken English and a warm, natural phone manner
  • A genuine interest in people and an ability to build rapport quickly
  • Quiet home office, stable fibre internet, and your own headset
  • Comfortable working night shift hours (SAST) on a daily basis
  • Comfortable logging call outcomes accurately in a spreadsheet or CRM

 

Package & Remuneration

Package & Remuneration:

  • Remote independent contractor role, 35 hours per week
  • Base salary of R15,000–R17,000 per month depending on experience
  • Bonuses for each successful tenant brief you generate. What constitutes a successful brief will be discussed at interview
  • If a tenant you sourced goes on to lease one of our properties, you earn a further bonus of up to R25,000 depending on deal size
