Salary: R35 000 per month (non-negotiable)

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a highly organised, client-focused, and proactive Senior Associate Advisor to join their growing financial advisory team.

This role is ideal for an experienced financial services professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-centric environment and enjoys managing client servicing processes from start to finish. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting advisers, managing client relationships, coordinating implementation processes, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple client engagements.

The position requires a strong understanding of financial services administration, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to independently manage workflows while maintaining high levels of professionalism, accuracy, and responsiveness.

Duties & Responsibilities

Client Relationship & Service Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for non-technical client servicing matters and follow-ups.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Deliver polished and professional communication via phone and email.
  • Provide responsive, solution-focused client support and ensure a high standard of client satisfaction.
  • Keep clients informed with regular progress updates and timely follow-ups.

Adviser Support & Meeting Coordination

  • Prepare client review documentation, reports, and supporting materials for adviser meetings.
  • Ensure all meetings are fully prepared with accurate and up-to-date client information.
  • Assist advisers with workflow coordination and administrative servicing requirements.
  • Support adviser productivity by reducing administrative workload and ensuring smooth operational processes.

Implementation & Workflow Coordination

  • Manage implementation processes involving insurers, financial platforms, accountants, and clients.
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding documentation, approvals, and requirements.
  • Coordinate stakeholders efficiently to ensure client files progress with minimal delays.
  • Escalate workflow issues or missing information proactively to avoid disruptions.

File Ownership & Administration

  • Take ownership of allocated client files and servicing activities.
  • Identify and resolve administrative gaps or missing information promptly.
  • Manage multiple client files simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Ensure deadlines, servicing standards, and workflow targets are consistently achieved.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain organised, compliant, and audit-ready client records within CRM systems.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Record all client interactions and servicing activities accurately.
  • Support compliance requirements and internal record-keeping standards.

Operational Support

  • Assist in improving workflow efficiency and first-time-right execution.
  • Contribute to structured operational processes and service delivery improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and improve client servicing efficiency.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in Financial Services Administration, Client Services, Advisory Support, or a related field.
  • Previous experience within financial advisory, wealth management, or financial services environments.
  • Proven ability to independently manage client files and servicing workflows.
  • Strong understanding of financial services administration processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively remotely.

Advantageous Experience

  • Experience with financial advisory platforms such as Plutosoft, Class, or similar systems.
  • Experience coordinating implementation processes with insurers, accountants, and financial platforms.
  • Previous experience supporting financial advisers in a client-facing environment.
  • Experience using Microsoft 365 within professional services or financial services environments.

Remote Work Requirements

  • Stable high-speed internet connection.
  • Backup power supply to ensure uninterrupted workflow.

Package & Remuneration

R35 000 per month (non-negotiable)
